PADC Foaming Agent (Azodicarbonamide)

ADC foaming agent appears as a yellow to pale yellow powder; the finer the particles, the lighter the color. It is an organic decomposition-type foaming agent with advantages such as uniform particle size, high gas evolution, easily controlled foaming temperature, and uniform and dense foam cells.

It is an important processing aid for synthetic materials and is widely used in both atmospheric and pressurized foaming of materials such as polyvinyl chloride, polypropylene, and synthetic and natural rubber. Standard ADC decomposes at temperatures between 200°C and 220°C, meeting the processing requirements of rubber and plastics. Special additives are often added to adjust the decomposition temperature.
