Applications of Isooctyl alcohol  :

1. Mainly used in the production of plasticizers.
2. It can be used as a defoamer for white latex.
3. Mixed solvents used to configure nitro spray paint.
4. Used for paper sizing, latex and photography.
5. Also used in the production of surfactants, dispersants, lubricants, emulsifiers, antioxidants, mineral processing agents, mercerizing agents and petroleum additives.
6. Commonly used in baked goods, frozen dairy products and puddings.
